Walmart is seeking to become a consumer electronics destination. To improve knowledge of consumer electronics with store associates, Walmart launched it's 2009 National MEM Training event. I selected a spy/detective academy theme to create a fun learning environment and motivate associates to delve deeper into the materials. Participants were given a dossier to collect clues from individual training sessions. Each participant had the opportunity to advance in their search for clues by performing exceptionally, and being rewarded with "Top Agent" passes and take-home premiums.
